Abrupt met in high school and have been together for 2 years. They do shows on a regular base around the Portland metro area, and in June 2005, won the battle of the bands "Musicfest" at the Rose festival in Portland Oregon. The members are Jonny Wright, lead vocals, and guitars, Chris Foster, drummer, Carter Davis, guitar, and Matt Hubbard, bass. They play a range from acoustic to alternative rock with a hint of R&B
