Turning away from his background as a heavy metal musician, Ole Børud has gone back to his musical roots in gospel, soul, funk and R&B.

He released his debut album Shakin' the Ground, which is inspired by American "Westcoast" music, funk and soul classics. On April 6, 2011, he released a new album entitled Keep Movin.

Ole Børud has been a full-time musician, involved with numerous bands and artists including the gospel group Arnold B Family, the internationally acclaimed metal band Extol, Sofian and Torun Eriksen and Andrae Crouch.
