In April 2002, the name "Azure Fields" became a service and entertainment trademark. The Azure Fields ministry was formed for the honor and glory of God by the Receveur family: Alec, Suzanne, Amanda, and Jesse. We chose not to use "The Receveurs" as a name for our group because we wanted to present a name that would give the glory to God instead. "Azure" means a shade of blue and we hope that you will look upward toward the sky and the blue fields of heaven when you hear the name "Azure Fields".

Since forming this ministry, we have been able to record five albums: Higher Ground (2002); Stars Danced In The Night (2002); Walking With Jesus (2003); In Concert (2006); and Thank You, Lord (2006). The Lord has been good to us and He has provided the means via "you" to have our family travel to various churches so that we can share His music.

Azure Fields has been interviewed for each album on the KSBN SafeTV Purely Music Show . We have also been featured in two church publications: Columbia Union Visitor and the Adventist Review.

The purpose for this ministry is to help bring people closer to Christ one song at a time. Our church concerts consist of solos, duets, instrumentals, and audience participation. The songs include old familiar hymns and new compositions accompanied by piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, banjo, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, lapharp, and kazoo. Concerts, songs, and instrumentation will vary from concert to concert based on Suzanne's current limited ability to play stringed instruments.
