Born in California just outside of Fresno, then moving to Kentucky around the age of 13, the
independent Christian Rock artist Devin Williams grew to love various genres of music.
Growing up in a household filled with musicians, Devin was captivated by music and
entertainment at an early age.
As a kid, Devin admired old school favorites like Ray Charles,
Elvis, Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson, and Kenny Rogers. Although you will find fingerprint
influences from bands like Soundgarden, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and
Skillet in his music, Devin has forged his own distinctive Modern Rock sound.
Forming a cover band at only 15-years old, they played several hometown gigs and loved every
minute of it. As Devin began listening more intently to how artists write their songs, he began to
understand how they told stories through musical lyrics. Studying music performance in Florida
during his college years, Devin put together a rock band and played concerts all over central
Florida, and then eventually made the move to Music City.
Devin is a seven-time Billboard Top 30 Christian Rock artist and is releasing his latest single
“Every Eye” Friday, March 19, 2021. As a singer-songwriter, producer, and worship leader,
Devin’s passion is to truly connect personal stories and inspirations through his music. On the
Billboard Christian Rock charts, he has previously charted the following singles; Destruction of
Kings (#15), Like A Fire (#16), I Will Overcome (#18), Eraser (#23), Feel You Falling (#24),
Here for You (#27), and Save Me (#30).
Serving as a worship leader at local churches in the Nashville area, Devin pursued God’s call on
his life and sought to spread the message of love and Grace. Devin strives to be a role model for
his community and the husband and father of three boys has shared his powerful music with
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt via the Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s Seacrest
Studios.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with popular Christian artists For King and
Country, Tenth Avenue North, and Building 429, to name a few. Chart-topping Christian acts
like Third Day have been praising Devin’s faith and his power to deliver God’s message through
his music. Mac Powell of Third Day states that he is not only impressed by his music, but by his
desire to spread the message of God’s love and mercy given to us. “You won’t be disappointed! I
believe God has something special for this guy,” says Powell. Contemporary Christian solo
artist, songwriter, and worship leader, Jeff Deyo of SonicFlood shares, “His voice is amazing, his
talent is very evident and his heart and commitment to seeing God work through him is steadfast
and contagious”.
Serving as a mentor for all to serve God and the community in a positive light, Devin impacts
audiences worldwide and has helped plant churches locally. Becoming an Italian citizen through
his grandfather, Devin had five tours in Italy, traveling from the country’s Northern city Torino,
down through Rome, all the way to the Southern city of Siracusa in Sicily. Conveying the
message of his song “Here For You” Devin translated the lyrics into Italian and recorded a new
version with a music video. Locally, he has played at top venues around Music City like the
Exit/In, 3rd and Lindsley, Mercy Lounge, The End, and 12th and Porter, Devin continues to
make waves as a Chart-topping Christian musician

Just listened to the 'Overload' album, and loved it! I wasn't sure what it would sound like at first, but I think Devin Williams hit a pretty unique sound spot-on. Comparable to Jeremy Camp, but a little bit better. I hope to hear more music from him!
