Since forming in 2005, See the Light has firmly believed that as musicians they have a higher purpose than fame or wealth and that God must be more evident in each ‘Heavy Worship service’ than every break down. Instead of band, they are truly a group of missionaries in a ministry that continues to expand because of the grace of God and the help of fellow believers.
With lyrics that can be found in any Sunday morning service and jaw-dropping breakdowns supported by haunting keyboard melodies, See the Light has never fit into one musical genre. The six-piece group has been compared to bands ranging from Sleeping Giant and Zao to The Glorious Unseen and even Andrew W.K. The group is known for their high energy performances which entail screaming one second and piano-led worship songs the next.
Shortly after releasing their latest EP, Maranatha(2009), STL expanded their mission field from their local scene of Paso Robles, California to the entire state. They embrace that just as the gospel is for every ear to hear and the grace of God is a free gift for all of mankind regardless of age, gender, musical preference, or anything else, STL has the privilege and calling to spread the love of Jesus Christ through their music and live performances.
As a band, we pray that our music will be encouraging to our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as a tool used by God to lead those who are lost, hurting, broken, and hungry to salvation.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:38&39

These guys are amazing. Period. How can one argue with Heavy Worship?
Sorry, after I made this profile I saw that they already had one, but I think this one is more complete. I hope no one minds.
