“Those painful experiences are precious to me… Having been so broken, I have a huge capacity to appreciate the wonder of God and all the provision He has for us! I wouldn’t trade a moment of what I’ve learned!”

As a busy wife, mom and recording artist, Mary shifts from role to role with ease – or so it seems. She says she has learned from each stage of her life to trust in God through everything and rely on his mercy day-by-day.

“I can’t promise the road will always be easy… but I can say with great assurance – God is Faithful – so don’t give up!”

Pressing on…

The concept of holding on to the Truth of God is the foundation for Mary’s latest worship project entitled, PRESSING ON. An evening of worship captured and recorded that ushers listeners into the presence of God and pours out encouragement and inspiration.

“Each project I’ve worked on is precious to me – it’s kind of like my children – it would be impossible to pick a “favorite!” However, Pressing On is especially dear to my heart because it is so very personal to me, on many levels!” First, Mary served as the producer for this album. “Now let me tell you – that was quite an undertaking and step of faith! I just really knew in my Spirit that God was requiring me to reach toward the next level. So we did it!”

Not only did Mary produce this project; she also recorded it at her home church, Metro Life Church where she and her husband of 22 years, Steve, serve as Senior Pastors. “I love the opportunity to minister across the globe! But this was just “us” and we got to really let our hair down and worship in that unique and intimate way that you can really do at home with folks who know you!”
