New York City began a long journey that would spark the reverie's beginnings. Crafting songs in a small New York City apartment, brothers John and Chris Sierra, forged their pursuit to bring their music and hopefully their passion, to the world.
Much time passed; depression and setbacks littered their desires, pushing their dreams further away, as if out of reach. After much thought, prayer, and questions, they decided to move back to their roots; back to the music.
Raleigh, North Carolina would become the catalyst that would serve as a launching pad for the reverie. Surrounded by friends and family, the reverie would have a support system to challenge, polish, and produce their craft. This support would prove invaluable in shaping not only the sound, but also the message behind the reverie's music. As of recent, two new members were added to the band, long time friends, Sean Martell (lead vocalist/guitarist for American Joy) and Dustin Vaughn.
The reverie's, "the rebirth - ep" is driven by the message that we, the human race, are created for more than empty-minded living. A common thread amongst all songs is the idea of unity: all of us looking towards meaning, and hope. From gripping melodies, to riveting anthems, this album is built for you.
