Katelynne Goldie Sue Cox was born and raised in Washington State. Cox has released 3 albums. She released Unbelievable with KC Record in 2008, One Girl with Red Hammer Records in 2011 and has most recently put out her independent EP Erase It. Cox says that her latest record is the one most personal to her. "I wanted to release a few songs I helped co write to give my listeners a different side of me, one that is more personal and that has been there all along." Amongst her five songs is a cover of "I Love Rock and Roll" which she recorded after holding a vote on her Facebook for fans to choose which song she would cover on her next record.
Katelynne has toured all over the United States for concerts as well as radio tours with her album One Girl and hopes she will be able to do the same with Erase It. Outside of music Katelynne remains very driven academically. She received a full ride to Clark College at the age of 15 and spent her 11th grade summer taking classes at Vanderbilt University. Cox is extremely involved in her community, church and was an active member in her sorority Alpha Phi, as well as the president and founder of the University of Missouri Debate Team. Her largest personal goal is to maintain being well educated in many areas of studies as well as continue her career as a musician. She says her motto is "You haven't failed until you've quit" and Katelynne Cox will never quit on music.
