Micah's Mile is a husband and wife duo currently residing in Sarnia Ontario Canada. Their passion is to make music that reaches into the soul, renews the faith of the broken and guides anyone who listens closer to God. They are ministry focused with a passion to share a positive message through music.
Over the years, Kerri has performed solos and participated in major Cantata's in various churches in Southern Ontario and was a member of the singing group "Covenant" based in Hamilton Ontario. With influences for Kerri such as Avalon, Casting Crowns, Twila Paris, Sandi Patty, Amy Grant, Kim Boyce, she carries the lead alto/saprano vocals and as well as harmony's that compliment Dan. Kerri is also the principle songwriter lyricist. Kerri also enjoys playing piano and flute.
Dan had previous live and recording experience when he played with former band, "End of Illusion" from 1993-1995, gaining nominal success in North America and one full length album recording entitled "Eternal Perspective".
Dan's influences include U2, Coldplay, Colin James, Bryan Adams, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Remedy Drive, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin and Paul Baloche. Dan is the instrumentalist of the band, playing drums, bass, guitars, piano, saxaphone, keyboard, etc along with handling the musical writing and arranging. Dan also works on the production, recording and mixing aspect of the music.
They have been fortunate enough to work with Chad Evans from Big Mix Productions, a Grammy Award winning producer/mastering engineer from the Anderson Indiana area and are look forward to working with him as they progress through the rest of their full length album.
Micah's Mile has released their first single "You Sing to Me" on March 25th, 2011 reaching #10 on the iTunes top inspirational charts and are currently working on further production as time permits.
