The Red Airplanes have been a band since the summer of 2004. The band had a quick start with recording a full length album and hitting the road in 2005.

The band found their audience by playing their worshipful rock/pop collection of songs. With an energetic live delivery the band began to tour outside their home state of Texas.

Their sophomore album and third album came within two years of each other in 07-08.
In 2009 and 2010 the band spent about 14 months on the road building their national fanbase.

In January of 2011 the band teamed up with Nashville producer Mark Townsend (Relient K, House of Heroes, etc)
to record a six song EP. The band starts their album release tour this Spring.
