Rob Attaway is a Christian songwriter and worship leader. He serves as the Worship Arts Pastor at Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo, TX. A versatile performer and songwriter, Rob has been creating music for nearly two decades. He is an accomplished music industry veteran, having performed with artists such as Third Eye Blind, Vanessa Carlton, Keane, Mac Powell, Sister Hazel, Gin Blossoms, and NeedToBreathe. As a member and songwriter for the band Honestly, his songs have been featured numerous times in television and film (Disney's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen; MTV's The Hills, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and Parental Control; CW's America's Next Top Model, among others). In 2004, Honestly was named "National Unsigned Band of the Year" by Alternative Addiction. Following the release of their sophomore album, Ghosts of a Brilliant Past, Honestly disbanded in 2005. After moving back to his native Texas in the spring of 2006, Rob began to pen a collection of new songs that eventually became the creative basis for Something Beautiful, his debut solo project. Something Beautiful was produced by Grammy nominated producer Scotty Wilbanks (Third Day, DecembeRadio, After Edmund, Unhindered), a long-time friend and collaborator who also produced Honestly’s Ghosts of a Brilliant Past. Something Beautiful is a journey to the heart of our purpose on this earth, a journey that involves both reflection and transformation.
