Christian Electronic Dance Music…what in the world is that? For those of us living inside the United States that’s a commonly asked question.

Electronic dance music is one of the most popular and most widely listened to and supported forms of music today and is often the #1 music of choice in Europe, Africa, and South America. EDM is not new. It’s been around for about 30 years now and most people mistakenly refer to all EDM as “Techno”. Techno is in fact a sub genre of EDM which contains hundreds of other sub genres such as : House, Trance, Drum N Bass, Dubstep, Electro, Break Beats and many more. Prior to just a few years ago Christian Electronic Dance Music (CEDM) was nearly impossible to find and the quality of the music that was available was lacking.

In 2007 GodsDJs.com was founded with the two main purposes of bringing CEDM into the church as a mainstream form of worship and with reaching the lost for Christ using EDM as a catalyst. GodsDJs.com is the world’s largest CEDM community and as of June 1st, 2011 had over 15,000 registered fans and members worldwide.
