Growing up, Ronda Adams never dreamed that recording and producing music would become a passion. Ronda began violin lessons around age 10 and remembers always being moved by music, especially worship music. Most nights, she sang herself to sleep. But it wasn’t until the late 90’s that Ronda knew “worship was what I was created for.”
Ronda’s debut CD, Blow Upon Me, recorded during the early years of IHOP-KC and released in 2002, has received worldwide distribution. “I’m just amazed at where my music has ended up,” says Ronda. “All over the earth, people tell me they’ve used the CD for weddings and dance performances and in prayer and healing rooms.”
The primary focus of Ronda’s music, however, is for individual prayer and devotional times. She longs for each and every person to feel God’s delight over them. Zephaniah 3:17 says, "…he'll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs.” (The Message) Ronda believes that the Lord uses instruments to sing over His people. “I want to play the melodies of heaven, and let God's presence fill the desperate places in our hearts,” she says.
About Ronda’s music, one avid fan remarked, “Wow! For so long there has been a deep hunger for individuals to truly connect with the Creator through music, in and by the Spirit. At home and at work, Ronda’s CD is one of my favorites for devotionals and soaking. It’s one thing to touch heaven and quite another to be immersed in it.”
Along with performing and recording, Ronda is actively involved in her local church and full-time ministry with Kingdom Foundations. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and two adult daughters.
