Mark began his music career in 2004, and has grown as an artist to tour internationally year-round. He has performed with many other artists such as Brandon Heath, Ed Cash, Paul Wright, and Rachael Lampa. Mark has also produced several albums for other artists such as Ryan Long and Josh Johnson (of the band Elenowen). In 2008 Mark worked with producer Ben Shive (Andrew Peterson, Sarah Groves, Matt Wertz) on his first full-length release, "Sun's Gonna Rise," which gained great attention in the industry upon its release. Since then, Mark has recorded six albums and performed in 15 countries.

Mark's new song, "Worth Holding Onto" was produced by Mark Trussell, Wagner's long-time friend and musical collaborator. Trussell makes his living in Nashville as a producer and guitar player, and has toured with Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, Josh Turner and most recently Billy Currington.  "Worth Holding Onto" is a healthy blend of groovy power pop and soul and is marked by Wagner's signature lyrical depth.  The song was inspired by two students that Mark and his wife Kalle have been walking with for several years through their work with Young Life in Utah.  Featured on the song is Wagner's friend and fellow Christian artist Brandon Heath.  Heath and Wagner met through Young Life years ago, and have remained friends ever since.  They have performed together at Young Life's Malibu Club, a camp in British Columbia.

To date, Mark has sold over 60,000 albums independently, he has performed in 15 countries, and he is still doing the very thing he loves most: playing music that inspires and gives hope.  Mark has sung about that hope for 15 years in front of thousands of high school students from all over the world during his work with Young Life, an organization that lines up with Mark's vision of giving hope to the hopeless.  This latest song is geared towards anyone who has ever struggled with depression, searching for the light at the end of the tunnel.  Wagner shares the truth, and the source of his own hope in this life, as he sings, "There is a God who loves you, and that's hope worth holding onto."
