Tierra "TeTe" Hale's amazing journey as a artist began at the young age of 3 when she discovered the wonderful art that is music. As she grew so did her passion for music but because she was convinced that she didn't have a big enough voice to be a gospel singer she never pursued her passion. After a few encounters with the heads of Society Revival she discovered that gospel music was bigger than a voice & the traditional style she had grew to love but was unable to do. She was enlightened that there was a entire generation that loved dancing, rapping, a unique voice & fashion style, & they loved God as much as she did. Now with the discovery of an audience that would allow her to just be TeTe, she is now poised to speak her heart through the rhyme & melody of music to relate to her listeners while giving back what God has given her.
Excellent beginning!| Posted May 23, 2012
Honestly, when I downloaded the song "He's the Man", I didn't expect much. Yet TeTe surprised me! I'm glad to see a passionate lover of Jesus create music with this genre.
Yes, TeTe needs some more experience and smoothing out but she'll gain it as she works with more artists. Out Of My Wits was a great first try and I'm looking forward to hearing more of her songs in the future!
TeTe reminds me a bit of Lady Sovereign and Lil Mama. I really believe that she'll go far and even surpass those. The more experience she has under her belt and the more love she stores up for Jesus- she'll be unstoppable.
Good effort| Posted May 22, 2012
I think this was a good effort but was very repetitive. It felt like "TeTe" was whining while singing a bit. I know that it has been a long road for this artist, trying to figure out what her voice and message are. This isn't quite it. It lacks authenticity.
