Minister Maria Jenkins is an anointed preacher, praise and worship leader and conference/workshop presenter.  Her Praise & Worship style is incomparable and leads you directly into the very presence of God.   Known as one of the premier Praise & Worship leaders on the East Coast at Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church, Maria is now stepping out and presenting her heart-felt debut album, The Journey Of A worshipper.

Maria is a native of Washington, DC.  She received the call to preach the gospel at the age of 21 and has been in the ministry for over 18 years.

She is an active member of Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church (GMCHC) in Washington DC, where the Pastors are Bishop Alfred and Co-Pastor Susie Owens.  At GMCHC, she is a Worship Leader as well as a graduate of the Calvary Bible Institute. 

The Lord has blessed Minister Jenkins to minister on foreign soil in London, England and on the island of Trinidad.  In addition, she has been sought after to lecture at various Praise and Worship workshops, local and abroad as well as a keynote speaker for Women’s conferences and banquets. 

One of the scriptures by which Minister Jenkins, bases her life upon is Psalms 34:1-3, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.  Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” 

Maria believes that if she could just touch one person’s life in such a way that they would live out the rest of their lives serving God, then her living would not be in vain.
