Brightwood is a four-piece aggressive melodic rock group based in the Portland, OR area. Their sound is best described as a modern blend of raw, yet intelligent, melodic rock laced with soaring guitars, and passionate vocals. Their sound embodies each of the members individual tastes without adhering to the formula of a particular genre. The result is a brand of music that is undeniably unique and intensely flavorful to the ear. Brightwood released their debut EP, "The Love Antidote" in 2006, and went on to release their first full-length album "Wake" in 2008. They released an acoustic album, which contained their old songs, entitled "Elementals" in 2010.
