Slingshot57 started 4 years ago with that vision and plans to see it through. With a busy schedule that has taken them to over 300 rock shows in 19 different states, the bands sets out to make a difference in peoples lives. Slingshot57 has always been passionate about meeting people where they are at and earning the right to be heard, "we love music and people." The band has received heavy national radio airplay, performed with several major label acts, and been aired on three consecutive seasons of MTV's "The Real World." Their most recent recording "Stay the Course" was released on May 6, 2003 through Grassroots Distribution. Slingshot57 has traveled nationally with CIY Believe Conferences and played festivals, State Fairs, and teen conventions, everything from bars to churches, parties to high school auditoriums. Led by front man Benjamin Woods, members Paul Stewart, Neill Nation, Nash Bruce, and Nick McNeeley plan to stick to the game plan, "play rock shows and build relationships."
