Lisa Bevill is one of those artists whose recognition and acclaim have yet to match the scope of her considerable talent. She's a passionate, gutsy vocalist -- possessing one of those female voices with a meaty resonance that infuses a lyric with authority.

Lisa has recorded three successful albums for Sparrow/EMI and one for Ministry Music. She has had 14 hit singles in the top 5 of AC/CHR/INSPO Christian music charts, with seven of those songs charting at #1. The #1 songs from Lisa's career include: "My Freedom," "Place In The Sun," "No Condemnation," "Turn And Love," "Tender Reed," "Only A Savior," and "If We're His."

Lisa was the first female artist spokesperson for True Love Waits, the highly publicized national campaign encouraging youth to commit to remaining abstinent until marriage. Lisa's "Chaperone" was selected for inclusion on the True Love Waits recording, also featuring Michael W. Smith, DC Talk, and Petra among others.

Her most recent album, When The Healing Comes, was released in 2008. Lisa is primarily retired from performing onstage because of a serious illness with Lyme Disease. She still works as a studio musician and backup singer when she is strong enough to sing and perform. She and her husband, Jeff, have two sons and live near Nashville, Tennessee.
