Christian Newswire/ -- One of the industry's newest and most prolific artists, David Crotty and Iesus Productions announce the release of his latest album, 2000 Years. Today marks the 10th album released by this amazing singer-songwriter in the last 8 months. Capping off a whirlwind year of new releases, fans will also be delighted to hear the voice of his 200 year old fiddle.
Originally from Texas and in Florida now, David has been creating quite a buzz over these last few months. Playing only original music from Bluegrass to Contemporary Christian, his albums include, A Living Love, Walkin On Water, Goodbye Old Life, Breakin New Ground, Just Getting Started, A Christian Love, A Turn Home, Which Way To Paradise, and The Best Song. His latest installment, 2000 Years, is equally promising.
A recent interview with David revealed some of his passion about his music. He told the story of the song he was finishing on his last album, You Can't Fiddle With Jesus, when the neck of the fiddle he was playing came loose from its body. As a result he was delayed in finishing the album. He then wrote the song, A New Instrument, to finish that album and pushed the Fiddle song to his latest album. Having no fiddle to continue, David revealed his belief that divine guidance led him to the 200 year old fiddle he now plays.
