I am a follower of the God/Man Jesus. His way has not changed in a couple thousand years... and it is pretty well explained in the Bible.... Truth is simple...yeah?

Beyond that I'm an underground musician, indie, dad, prophet, guitarist, writer, yard man, roadie, complainer, bus driver, dish washer & darn good cook. 

I've been in Atlanta for a while and have collaborated and performed with many fine folks: Angie Aparo (the Prince of Americana), members of Mylon Lefevre & Broken Heart (CCM pioneers), MEDUSA (Liberia's favorite Reggae band), Caroline Aiken (the Queen of Indie Folkies), Alpha Blondy's Solar System Band (West Africa's Reggae Kings), the eclectic 'Elephant's Gerald' several versions of my own bands.

I have also been involved in birthing several contemporary services in traditional churches and participated in prophetic/healing ministries and out-reaches.... i have also been told to go away by a few churches...goes with the turf right?

But. whether I'm at a  home gathering or playing in front of 61,302+ people or just cooking breakfast the mission is the same...  bring the Truth and Message of Heaven to Earth.   

A lot of the music is instrumental. I use guitar like a voice allowing your Spirit to sing along and give some space for you (yes you) to have unhindered thoughts without lyrics telling you what to think about. The music will go pretty deep after a few listens so take your time.... we're not making instant coffee here .... neither was Jesus.

Although Rog only claims credit for 14 albums he contributed to hundreds of projects during a 5 year stint as guitarist/producer @ Little River Studio, including a 156 song catalog for Thunderbird Records, some tracks for the famed SUN label and a few projects for Tom Long (then President of ASCAP).

Roger is among the a pioneers of electric guitar in worship and spiritual improvisation. Many eyebrows were raised and more than a few minds blown in the early days when he would roll his 'big gig rig' into churches.

I get told my guitar 'sounds-like' Santana, Clapton, Duane, Beck, Buckethead, King etc.... I always feel complimented by the comparisons but wonder if people ever tell Carlos or Bucket that they "sound like roger"  
 

there are a few things I won't tell you

....things like "I equip the saints to engage a new generation" ... or ... "I am breaking down the barriers of tradition"  or stuff like  .."we encourage encouragers to encourage the unencouraged" or "wow...we really ushered in the presence of God"....ummmm you are always in His presence...its your awareness that ramps up .. don't get fooled by the BS.

I get kinda SNT (sick n tired) of grandiose statements by self important 'leaders' and so called pastors who sling selfies and platitudes to their horde every week so they can reach out for their money. They say toooo many words and farbicate toooo much christianese jargon & jive while living like a rock star..... they doen't smell much different than ...ahhh .... you get it ...cuz you're smart.....right? 

Ever notice all the ads on sites like this??  Is this site just to collect ad revenue (which, just for the record, I get NONE of) and sell your info to google???  ...and why do all the bands look like they shop at the same store ....think about it.....please
