Hi! I am Eddie B. I am the founder and the senior missionary of Conviction For Christ Ministry based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have a beautiful wife named Sandi and 6 wonderful children. Twenty-one years ago I started this ministry by going into one prison. From that one prison this ministry has grown to 581 prisons and 40 missionaries across the United States. Last year we had 2,108 first time salvations and 9,729 rededications.
Currently we have given away over 24,000 CDs to schools and families of those who have been or are currently incarcerated. At the end of the CD we always include an altar call. There have been many people who have come to know Christ through this altar call. The vision of this ministry is to build and equip missionaries that will go into prisons throughout the United States and preach the gospel.
Twenty-five years ago I was a strung-out drug addict living in the streets, with no hope of a future. It was at that point that I cried out to God, "please help me!" and God answered me. For the first time, I didn't feel powerless over my addiction, and through the grace of God I was able to walk away from it. I have been able to effectively use my life's testimony and music to deliver the gospel of Christ to the lost and hurting.
I had a dream about being a singer at 5 years old but God has made it very clear to me now that I am to sing for Him. I have currently written 33 CDs and have won numerous awards and accomplishments.
- Several of my songs have charted at #7, #13, #16, and #21.
- In 2012 I had 8 number one songs on Indie Heaven.
- The song "Come On Home," was nominated by Indie Heaven for song of the year in 2012.
- In the state of New Mexico I have been a 6 time Mic-line award winner and have been nominated 27 times.
- It's been an honor to have 4 songs featured in 2 movies, and my songs are currently receiving radio airplay all over the United States.
- I have authored 3 books, "Milk or Ministry," "Feed on His Faithfulness," and Discipleship and Commitment."
- I have earned an associate degree in Theology with Berean School of the Bible through Global University.
- In 2012 I completed my doctorate degree with Agape Bible College.
- I have also completed a Mixing class with Berkley School of Music.
The primary focus of this ministry is to build a discipleship center that will train and equip people to preach the gospel. The discipleship program will be a one year commitment and will also provide the opportunity to earn a degree through Agape Bible College at no cost.
It truly has been an honor and a blessing to write about Conviction For Christ Ministry. We hope and pray that it will encourage you that there are no limits with God, and that He is willing and able to use anyone who will give their attention to Him.
