Rachell Robbins loves to sing...especially about GOD...which to Rachell; means LOVE! Rachell is a normal teenage girl attending high school as a sophomore with a big love for music. "Music is such a big part of my life. I wake up thinking about music...go to sleep thinking about music, and dream about music."
Rachell and her brother Adam have been raised by their father since they were babies. "My dad sacrificed so much so we could attend a Christian school. He wanted us to have a strong Christian foundation to guide us through life's ups and downs; knowing that God's path was the only path to true, inner happiness."
In eighth grade, Rachell earned the lead role of Gabriella in High School Musical. It wasn't her first time on stage, but this time, God unlocked Rachell's ability to create music. At the age of fourteen, Rachell co-wrote and recorded her first two singles; "STORY OF YOUR LIFE & WHEN YOU GET HOME." Her first CD; 'WHEN YOU GET HOME" was released in 2012(also available on iTunes). Her love of Christian, Country & Pop music is evident in her songwriting and singing style. Rachell's lyrics are far beyond her years...an old soul for sure! Rachell shot her first music video in 2012 for "STORY OF YOUR LIFE," available for viewing on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=a5HFjiN-xTE). A music video for "WHEN YOU GET HOME" will be lensed this summer.
When Rachell isn't singing, she can be found drawing, sketching, composing photo's, going to church and youth group, and has an affinity for doing makeup artistry for her girlfriends. Rachell also spends a tremendous amount of time studying for her AP/ Honors classes. In addition, she is a true patriot, and has been honored by singing our National Anthem at professional football, basketball and soccer games. Her love for the U.S.A. goes much deeper; as her older brother Adam will soon enlist in the U.S.M.C. "I am very proud of my brother Adam!"
Rachell's musical quest and journey is not about being famous, but to spread her positive message through her music. She has been very blessed to meet some wonderful industry professionals in Nashville, and is currently working on a plethora of new songs, and hopes to begin recording this summer. In closing, Rachell Robbins lives by the following biblical passage and encourages the rest of us to do the same.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for The Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave nor forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6
