As a young girl, there was something special that happened when music touched her heart. The power of God's love woven into melodies and lyrics ignited a desire to touch people with songs that delivered hope. And that is just what Keisha Cory set her heart to do with her life. After attending Lee University in Cleveland Tennessee, Keisha alongside her husband Trent, served in the local church as music pastors for nearly 10 years. It was after that time in 2008 that doors began to open for the Cory's to take their music and message to people nationally and internationally.
The past 5 1/2 years have taken Keisha to churches both large and small, conferences, and events of every kind. She has been seen many times on international television, as well as shared the stage with a host of award-winning artists. In addition to singing, Keisha is also a speaker, blogger, songwriter, and aspiring author.
After a series of mountains and valleys that she describes as "life happening" in 2011, God laid on Keishas heart to begin working on her first ever solo album. In 2012 Grammy nominated producer James Matchack answered the call and she began writing, arranging, and recording a collection of songs titled "Still Standing".
The music and the message is very simple, despite the challenges in life that sometimes knock us down, we can get back and say I'm still standing! The album is scheduled to release June 18, 2013, And is filled with songs of hope and encouragement for every season of life.
