Formed in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2010 by brothers Michael, Andrew, and Stephen Tasselmyer, The Sound Of Rescue is an experimental project exploring lo-fi post-rock, drone, ambient, and dream pop music.

Carefully crafted in basements and apartment homes with a variety of instruments, and recorded as much for the eye as the ear, The Sound Of Rescue's intensely visual compositions promise to provide a fitting sonic backdrop - or foreground - for any occasion.

Michael and Andrew also started another ambient drone side project, Hotel Neon, in April 2013.
