Michelle Anderson is the newest face to the Music Industry, bringing life to the Inspirational Pop genre.
A Los Angeles native, Michelle was raised in music, becoming proficient in piano, violin and voice at a young age. She branched into performance in high school, where she then attended the International Scholar Laureate Program overseas, an opportunity through Juilliard to experience the history and culture of music.
During her college career at Biola University, Michelle began writing her own music and traveled to Nashville and Richmond to perform and learn from other artists while taking extensive vocal training. She has performed her work at several venues in the Hollywood area, most recently being the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event. She is launching her first single, "Alone", in August 2013 and is looking forward to releasing her full album this fall.
Her film background, including multiple features with John Woo, has given her an in depth look at the industry and how to creatively blend that with music. Her television work includes Numbers, Melrose Place, Pretty Little Liars and Chuck, relationships she has cultivated for years, many of which have become musicians themselves. Having the support of amazing artists such as Sasha Petierse, Rob Morrow and Lucy Hale, Michelle can't wait to see how this blend of actors and musicians form a new Hollywood hybrid.
Her background of being raised in Hollywood has given her an ear to the ground, where she can merge the heartbeat of modern music with the desperate need for hope in uncertain times.
