Waken is an electronic/synthpop worship band based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a ministry of Ocean's Edge School of Worship. The heart of the project is to provide a fresh and exciting worship experience for this generation, through the writing and recording of original music. Combining a unique indie sound with lyrics fitting for a corporate worship environment, the band aims to redefine what makes "church music", "church music".
