My journey as a song writer begun when i was 19 years old. In those days i was moved to write songs that depicted the realities of life and not much focused on our Lord Jesus Christ. It was in the year 2012, i asked the Lord to give me grace to do something new with my songwriting and music that would focus more on Christ. And so, the following year onwards the Lord began to birth new songs of worship and praise to the Lord. So far the Lord has impressed on my heart to write more than 15 songs both in English and Hindi.

It was the midnight of  January 8, 2013 that God woke me up from my sleep after a dream. The dream was a wild dream, in which a giant man was chasing me to attack. I found myself running away from the attacker. As helpless I was, found a hand from above protecting me from this giant man. As I woke up at this point in time, i started writing the words to this song - “Yeshu Tera Pyaar”.  A good portion of the song came to me right at this very time i was sitting in my bed. The first line of the song “Apne Hatho se mujhe chalata …” was truly inspired from this very dream.

After several months, i had the opportunity to share this song at our church and with my many friends and i received much encouragement. It was my burden and joy then to make this song known to the wider body of Christ. It is my hope and prayer that this song will minister to thousands of people who needs encouragement and it will lead them to a personal encounter with the love of Jesus Christ.

May this song be sung by people of God around the world to declare praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.
