Rebel Band is a band made up of 3 brothers; Brackton, Bryden, and Brice
Music has always been a big part of our lives, most of our family members play some sort of instrument so they have all had big influences on all 3 of us. I (Brackton) started singing and playing guitar at the age of 10 when I got my first guitar. A couple years later Bryden decided to try drums and soon discovered he is an amazing drummer! Me and Bryden started playing concert for family at home and then decided to become a real band. Just last year Brice at the age of 10 decided that he would like to join the band so he learned bass, he was the missing piece we've been looking for!
What Is The Message You Want To Bring To Your Audience?
The message we want to bring to our fans really revolves around Romans 12:1-2 - "Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your true and proper worship. DO NOT CONFORM to the patterns of this world, but BE TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good pleasing and perfect will." more so focusing on verse 2. We want to inspire people to live their lives for Christ and to not be Ashamed to stand out from the crowd no matter what it may bring, We also want to inspire kids our age to go out and be a witness of Gods love, we want to show them that no matter how young or old you are God can still use you to do great things.
How Would You Define Your Style Of Music And Where Did Your Lyrics Come From?
We consider ourselves a Pop/Rock/Worship band. We've got Pop music with a Rock sound! I (Brackton) write most of our music, and most of my songs come from bible verses that have impacted us, and stuff that God has been doing in our lives. We just want to give praise to our God and bring glory to his name, and to show everyone that hears our songs that our God is an AWESOME God!
What Are You Doing Currently To Benefit Others, Outside Of Music?
I (Brackton) was blessed on being able to go on a missions trip to Washington D.C. last summer and got to do lots of street ministry and visit some homeless people and hear their story's and interact and meet a lot of new people, I also lead worship in many different churches and parks and basically every ministry we could! We are all very involved with the youth and children's ministry's at our church. We help out at our district church camp every summer and also help with our churches VBS. We love being able to help people as much as we possibly can.
