Chad Evans grew up in Longview, Texas where he enjoyed playing the drums in his family's band, The Gospel Sunlights. Chad always loved music and song writing, stating, "I'm sure God shot ink through my veins when he created me." Inspired by his blind pianist mother, Chad continued to pursue music, specializing in the guitar at the early age of twelve. Through life's hardships, Chad has learned to trust God above all else and pursue God's will for his life. Through his music, Chad aspires to uplift the name of Christ and spread Christ's love to the world.
Chad has performed at various churches and venues across North America, sharing the stage with Christian artists such as Kari Jobe, Building 429, 4 King and Country, Chris Tomlin and Mark Shultz. In 2013, Chad completed his first album called Acoustic Sessions, followed by his radio single release Once and For All in 2014, and an upcoming EP called Before & After in the spring of 2015. A former student of Christ for the Nations, Chad currently works at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas as a Youth Worship Director and enjoys mission work, inspirational speaking, as well as continuing to be a good role model for young adults and students.

Thank you for sharing your heart & life with teenagers. It's a tough calling at times, but they need to see positive role models at work.
