Four years ago, God called a group of 14 people together to pursue a dream that He had placed in the hearts of Doug and Stephanie Garasic. They began meeting in an office building, a humble start to what they knew would not be an ordinary church, but a movement for which only God could take credit.

The vision of The Movement is to “Forget Religion and Find God” – to put churches in places they don’t belong in order to reach people who seem like they don’t belong in church. We want to move people to change – to move them from despair to hope, doubt to faith, fear to love.

Beethoven once said, “Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life.” While music is just one way that we express our worship of Jesus, we believe that music’s power to effect emotions, inspire unity, and provoke change makes it an indispensable avenue to experiencing God’s presence.

MVMT Worship is an ever-expanding group of worship leaders and musicians who are sold out to the vision of The Movement. Our desire is to use the talents that God has given us to write songs that bring people to God, and God to the people. We want no glory or fame for ourselves – our highest honor is to know Jesus and make Him known.
