Growing up I knew I wanted to be two things, a professional baseball player or musician. Once I came to the conclusion that my time in the majors was never going to happen, I knew I had one purpose and one calling.
I was born in North Carolina and then like a vagabond, moved to whatever state Pops would minister in. Being a pastors kid had its challenges, like being at church all day and every night. But my siblings and I had great parents who supported us no matter what, including all of the awkward and goofy sounds I made on the church instruments.
Songwriting has always been my passion. When I'm able to take an idea that doesn't exist, translate it in to a sensible thought (most of the time), then a tangible song that people can connect and relate to -- man. There's nothing is better than that.
I'm excited to announce that I will be releasing new music this year. I've had the opportunity to work with some Christian music legends to craft and refine new songs. My hope is that these songs will speak to people where they are at and draw them closer to the One who created them.
