The son of longtime country star Joe Stampley, Tony was touring with his dad at the age of 17. He was learning the intricacies of road life while most of his friends were still finishing high school. When Tony moved to Nashville Hank Williams Jr. recorded three of the first five songs Tony wrote. Today Hank Williams Jr has recored 17 on Tony's songs. As a writer Tony has had over 50 major cuts by artists like George Jones, Randy Travis and Billy Currington to just name a few.
As a recording artist Tony has released two albums. The first came from Dreamworks Records Nashville in 2002 titled Rebelution. His latest, When I Get On A Roll was released in 2014. His current single is called "Daily Bread". The song speaks to the heart of the listener and is about being thankful to God for all of lifes many blessings. Tony is a firm believer that a song can change the world.
