Jaron Cox is a Christian Rock artist based out of central North Carolina. Jaron Cox started as the bass guitarist and background vocalist for the Christian Rock Band, Peace of Amis, for about 7 years.  In this group, he opened for different artists such as, Downhere, Sevenglory, Jason Grey, and High Flight Society. Jaron Cox continued his music career after Peace of Amis as an independent recording artist, musician, singer, and songwriter in the genre of Christian Rock.  Jaron Cox majored in music education at East Carolina University. He is currently working as a Band Director, while writing and working on his solo music career. Jaron Cox began recording his first EP, Cyclical Madness EP, in the summer of 2016 with the help of Brandon Mills (guitarist from Decyfer Down) at Fallen Sparrow Studio in North Carolina. Jaron was able to record this EP with the help of Brandon Mills (playing guitars and producing the EP), Joey West (Drummer from Disciple laying down all the drum parts), and even enlisting the help from Raleigh based Christian Rapper, Primisis, to help add some hip-hop elements to the 2nd track on the EP, I Will Rise. Jaron played bass guitar, keyboards, and performed all singing and screaming vocal parts for the EP.

Finding inspiration from bands and artists like Decyfer Down, Disciple, Pillar, Oh Sleeper, Thousand Foot Krutch, P.O.D., Stryper, Demon Hunter, Memphis May Fire, Alter Bridge, Emery, We Were Once, Set For The Fall, Primisis, KJ-52, Spoken, Manafest, Eowyn, RED, Skillet, and many more, Jaron tries to make a distinct sound that is all his own, while remaining true to the genre of Christian Rock.

As an artist, Jaron wants to make music comes from real life experiences. Music should have emotion. It should take you on an emotional journey. The music itself should serve a purpose. The lyrics are there to help guide the listener along their journey. Jaron tries to write lyrics that are true to what living a Christian life really is about. Not all days are going to be that great. Sometimes life will bring chaos.  Jaron tries to write songs that can help the listener find their grounding. Jaron Cox's songs are Christ-centered and positive. The music is very aggressive and full of heartfelt emotion. Jaron writes music for the purpose of hoping to be able to share the message of God's Love for All and he hope to reach people who otherwise may not be able to hear the word of Christ.
