Joshua "J.Lee The Producer" Norman is no stranger to success. His committment to develop his character, work ethic and athletic ability paved the way for him to become a High School All-American and one of the most coveted players of the University of Oklahoma's 1998 recruiting class. As a Sooner, Joshua set the record for receptions in a game by a Sooner, earned Honorable Mention All-Big XII honors three times, and served as co-captain his senior year for the 2001 team. His exceptional play, leadership and commitment to excellence garnered him the priviledge of fulfilling his life long dream to become a member of the elite when he signed a NFL contract with the San Diego Chargers in 2001.
After four seasons in the National Football League as a member of the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers, Joshua determined he had accomplished all that he desired in his athletic career and made the decision to step away from the gridiron. In the same manner Joshua displayed versatility on the playing filed his diverse off-the-field talents are equally impressive. He is the founder of The Truth Records and Verity Music Group through which he has produced 80 albums and mopre than 400 records for R&B, Hip-Hop, Neo Soul and Gospel artist. J.Lee The Producer draws his inspiration from a myriad of sources that reflect the diversity of his work. Artist such as Donny Hathaway, The Winans, Timbaland and Marvin Gaye have influenced his efforts.
Looking ahead, J.Lee The Produer desires for J.Lee Productions to become the number 1 music production company in the world and to control the flow and out source of the music industry. By example, he intends to inspire youth to pursue their dreams and project beyond their circumstantial barriers.
