Battleground City is a team of local men and women invested in the city of Tucson, committed, dedicated and driven to seeing positive change, beginning with our young people. We believe in hosting and conducting educational and motivational workshops and using hip hop with a higher purpose as our tool to promoting and advancing this change beginning in our local communities and spreading throughout our city. The focus of Battleground City is urban, inner-city and at-risk youth and young adults. Our teams experience with young people expands from local youth ministry, mental health and addiction and recovery. Our team consist of Ryan & Chantis Larned (presidents/founders, motivational speakers), Payton Goldston (co-founder, singer, rapper, song writer, motivational speaker), Ridge Wilson (intern, rapper, songwriter), Nate Carr (intern, rapper, songwriter) & Christy Choice (motivational speaker, hospitality).
