FlightSchool is a hip-hop duo made up of rapper/songwriter Rich Colón and producer/rapper Avila. Originally based out of Orlando, FL, the group now resides in Detroit, MI.
On July 12th, 2016, Graveyard Shift debuted as FlightSchool's first EP together. After reaching the Top 100 hip-hop releases and Top 20 indie releases on iTunes, the group went on to establish themselves with a rigorous performance schedule.
On January 27th, 2017, the duo released their first album, Seasons. The album covers more personal topics than Graveyard Shift; such as relationships, doubt, church hurt, and more.
Since then, the guys have dropped a handful of singles, as well as, dual EPs (Avila's In My Feels / Rich Colón's Thirtyfirst) to showcase the versatility found within the group. Avila and Rich are currently anticipating the release of their third project and are booking shows throughout 2018.
The duo has performed in Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Showcasing their energetic live show at numerous Youth Camps, Conferences, and Artist Showcases. Most recently finishing a three-day stint on the Church Of God's Midwest Winterfest weekend.
FlightSchool plans to reach the masses with a message of hope through personal struggles & life stories.
