Adrian (formerly known as Crossover) began his rap career in 2012. He left his mark on the Christian Hip-Hop scene with multiple album releases and many singles which featured among many top CHH websites such as Rapzilla, Jam The Hype, and New H2O. As a young high school student, Adrian toured many different cities in the Southeast. He also earned an opportunity to open for Grammy-award winning artist, Lecrae. Adrian put his rap music on hold while he attended Columbia International University in pursuit of a music degree but left college early to pursue a career in music. His unique sound and voice has allowed him to try his hand at multiple styles. Adrian has been compared to artists like Drake, Chance The Rapper, and Logic.
Adrian’s desire is to be a light in a world that is ever-dimming. When speaking about his recent releases and upcoming project, Adrian said, “I want my music to deal with issues and problems within the church that maybe we’re too scared to talk about in the wrong setting. People are tired of hearing music that exalts toxic behaviors and unhealthy lifestyles. Adrian wants to join with other artists who are genuine in their music and in their mission to bring peace where there is chaos, love where there is hate, and life to what has been dead for so long.”
During the Summer of 2018, Adrian released his freshman album, 1995. Self-written, self-produced, and self-promoted from his home in Columbia, S.C. 1995 takes a close look at current themes and struggles in our culture today. From alcoholism, drug use, and acceptance to self-hate, idol-worship, and much more, Adrian doesn't shy away from life's most common vices. 1995 is available now on all streaming platforms.
