From humble beginnings, Cécile Manuela came to the United States with her family as a young girl from Cameroon, Africa. God had always been a part of her life, but her personal relationship with Him began in college.
“It was in college that I became aware of how real God was and how much He had done for me,” said Manuela. “I had fallen in love with popular music listening to the sounds of Michael Jackson and Celine Dion. Growing up, I covered their songs a lot! But suddenly, I felt a burning need to write my own songs in the genre that I loved to celebrate God through music.”
It was this realization that inspired Cécile to begin writing music to reintroduce the world to God. After five years of writing, she’s ready to release her debut EP, ‘Tomorrow (Will Take Care of Itself).’
“
She believes her music will speak to people today who are experiencing loss, anger, sadness, and distrust in God.
“There is so much division in our society. Now more than ever, we need to be kind and care for one another. Through my music, I want people to realize God is real, and that having a relationship with Him is the most important thing that can happen to their lives.”
You can listen to and download ‘Tomorrow (Will Take Care of Itself)’ by Cécile Manuela beginning September 14 on all streaming platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.
