Emerging out of Jacksonville, FL, Christian Alternative Rock Band Scarlet Letter Society uses a uniquely composed musical blend of Rock, Hip-Hop, and Caribbean flavors to encourage the broken, empower the wounded, and bring hope to the hopeless. With musical influences ranging from Andre Crouch and DC Talk, to the Roots, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix, this five-member band is unapologetically passionate about their message and equally particular about the musical vehicle that they use to deliver it.
From hard-hitting raps to uplifting rock ballads these song-smiths perform a range of contemporary genre blends over well-crafted synthesized backtracking and live instrumentation that allows you to delve into the heart of five imperfect guys trying to point people to a perfect God. No one is too far gone for God's love and their music echoes that message to its core.
In 2016 they independently released their debut, self-titled EP. Since that release, they have been busy performing and doing ministry in their hometown of Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas of the Southeastern United States as well as the Caribbean. They are now working on new music with a renewed desire to let the world know that there is hope for everyone no matter the situation.
