Mere Vessels is an indie christian band based out of the greater Cincinnati area, comprised of Stephanie Walsh, Ally Patterson, and Kristen Niemeyer. Their eclectic sound borrows elements from many different genres. Stephanie brings a bluesy-folk influence which Ally complements with elements of electronic and hip hop production. The end result is an earthy, yet modern sound that defies categories and is unpredictable and fresh.

The band seeks to pair their unique sound with honest lyrics that tell moving stories and depict the beauty of God and His truth. Their name is taken from 2 Corinthians 4:7 which says, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us."
