Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, Isaiah was raised primarily in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from college locally at Wright State University. He got his start performing and recording with the likes of Mark T. Jackson, Rodney Posey, and Pastor R.A. Vernon, as well as Kommitted Music Group and One Voice.
In 2014, Isaiah debuted on his own with the self-released Roll In The Dirt. The album peaked on Billboard Gospel Albums at number 25 that September, coincidentally the same week a release by another supporter, Smokie Norful, was at the top of the chart.
Following collaborations with Terrence J. Dooley and Travis Greene, among others, Isaiah -- by then a worship leader at Have Life Church in his adopted home of Charlotte, North Carolina -- returned to solo work in 2018 with the single "Everything Will Be Alright." This was followed in 2019 with Isaiah's sophomore album, This Life.
