Ashli McCall is a homeschooling mom and author of Beyond Morning Sickness: Battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, The Chronicles of Nausea, and Mama Has Hyperemesis Gravidarum (But Only for a While). Ashli loves the LORD and, when she’s not singing for Jesus, she seeks to lead a quiet life (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Her singing voice has been described as pure and sweet and comparable to that of Joni Eareckson Tada.
After being diagnosed and a rare survivor (so far) of pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer at the age of 38, with a young daughter and a son with special needs, she came to understand more clearly than ever that tomorrow is not a promise, life is really hard sometimes, and God is still really good. We hurt, and He is our comfort. We mess up, and because of Jesus, He forgives us. We get sick—sometimes we even die, and He still loves us. He is sovereign and glorious and the beautiful jewel found in the midst of suffering. He is the promise of the rainbow after the storm. He’s real, we need Him desperately, and He’s our only hope. He loves us passionately and wants us to love Him the same way. And the purpose of our obedience is not to secure a salvation we could never earn, but to give a gift of love to the God Who holds all creation in His hand. These are important truths that must be handed down to God’s covenant children and shared with the world. Here I Am, Lord is a lasting message in a bottle to Ashli's son and daughter. She hopes it will glorify the LORD and serve them, and you, well.
100% of Ashli’s proceeds will be donated to youth missions.
