mile7 chases excellence. The band strives for excellence in its mission and stretches for excellence in its music. The mission is to make the Name of Jesus Christ known; to lift Him up so that He will draw all men unto Himself (John 12:32). The music speaks for itself. It is passionate and sincere; urgent in its confirmation of the band's mission.

mile7's music is often compared to David Crowder*Band, Switchfoot, the Dave Matthews Band, and Mute Math. The band shared the stage with many nationally known artists such as: Skillet, The Afters, Plumb, Sarah Kelly, Pocket Full of Rocks, and many others.

Currently (January 2008) the band released a new EP: Afterglow. The first single will be released to radio nationwide in late summer.
