Asarela D’Arpino (born March 7, 1991) is a Belgian worship leader and contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter from Limburg, Belgium. Her first album, I believe, was released in December 2020. 
 
In 2009 Asarela met her husband Michel Artoos. In 2010 they got married. Together they have two beautiful children, Ifrahim and Chanault. 
 
Asarela grew up in Limburg, Belgium in a loving christian family. She was always called a miracle child. Although her parents could not have children, God gave them Asarela after 13 years.  At the age of 3 Asarela already started to create her own songs and melodies in the presence of her family. From her early age she loved singing. Music always played a major role in her life. 

When she was 11 years old, Asarela got more and more the desire to grow in what she loved to do the most, singing! So she decided to take some vocal lessons. At the age of 14 Asarela joined a local worship band and sang with them for 9 years. Together with the worship band she got to worship in different churches in Belgium and the Netherlands. At the same time and age she became part of a Christian pop rock band. She worked with them for 5 years. They won a contest for best playing band in 2005. 
 
In 2006 Asarela was invited to participate at an Italian contest in her town. With the song that she chose to sing ‘un messaggio d’amore’ she won the audience award and the award for best song. 
 
In 2007 and 2008 Asarela went through a very difficult and dark period in her private life. She made some bad decisions and was about to quit everything. She wasn’t really sure what God’s plan for her life was. For one whole year Asarela did not sing. Not once, not one note. Until that night God spoke to her through a verse that has never left her heart. In a desperate moment of crying and prayer she asked God to show her something. She was in a desperate need of a touch from heaven. As she opened her Bible, God showed her Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,”declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  This vers brought her spirit back to life. She surrendered herself again to the Lord that evening and declared that her voice from that day on will only sing of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
 
In 2012 she went on a mission trip to Romania to help the people there and she also did some worship evenings. 
 
At the age of 22, Asarela faced a major loss. The death of her mother. In her grief and sorrow she sought God and found comfort in Him. It helped her enormously to write down her feelings and process them in melody, music and singing.
 
In the following years God began to speak and reveal Himself more clear to Asarela. God's plan and vision for her life took shape and grew. For 7 years Asarela served as a worship leader in the church they were part of. In february 2016 she and her husband started their church Worship & Grace. While they pastor together, Asarela is also the worship director and leader in the church. Besides all this, Asarela is often asked to lead worship at Christian events such as conferences and church services. 
 
On a prophetic day in 2019 she came in contact with a couple who heard her sing. They saw the potential in her and from this grew the idea to record an album.
In december 2020 Asarela finally released her first full album called I Believe.  
 
It is her heart’s desire to see a generation of people led to Jesus through music and worship.
