Latin singer-songwriter and worship leader, Daniela Barroso is leaving a mark on the Latin Christian music scene. Not only with her stunning vocals but also with the heart of God for this generation.
From a young age, Daniela has faced very challenging and exciting experiences in her life. Being an immigrant from Bolivia and living far from her roots has allowed her to have a profound pursuit for the presence of God. Her life became centered around Jesus giving her encounters that have greatly enriched her and opened the door for her to express them as songs that demonstrate her sincerity, vulnerability, and a heart abandoned to worship.
At the age of 13, she released her first album, “Solo Por Ti” (Only For You). Her second album, “El Ultimo Tren” (The Last Train Out), gave her international notoriety with many of the songs having reached the top of the charts at radio stations all over Latin America. In 2010, “Saca Mi Alma” (Release Me) came to be ranked number 16 of the 50 most played songs in Latin Christian radio stations in the U.S. Her third album “Secreto Lugar” (The Secret Place) featured a duet with Mac Powell of Third Day and her EP Gran Expectativa (Great Expectation) includes a duet with Luis Morales of Miel San Marcos.
Her most recent single Zion, recorded in 4 different languages, is now available. You can find her leading worship at Influencers Church ATL.
