Sometimes it takes the process of being broken to be restored and losing your path to truly find your purpose. This was part of the process Katy Reynolds found as she walked through the trials that eventually led to writing her first released single, Seek First the Kingdom.

Born and raised in a small Texas town, Katy was rooted in her local church where she first fell in love with worship. After years of journaling, she began writing songs in middle school, and eventually letting people hear a few in college. The path ahead wasn’t easy and over the next few years Katy walked through a difficult season of life. She knew God wanted to heal her in a way only He could and provide a life away from the label of divorce, tragedy, or depression.

The past several years have continued to be formative years for Katy in healing and restoration. She found a stronger voice that God gave, new messages in her songs, and a confirmed calling on her life to share them. Katy now resides in Franklin, TN where she stays working on new music.
