Founded in the fall of 2013, Searching Serenity is a Christian deathcore band based out of Jacksonville, Florida. The band was co-founded by guitarist Robert Manzone and vocalist Robert Kiser. The band played a number of shows around Jacksonville, and surrounding areas in Florida and Georgia from the fall of 2014 through the spring of 2018. The band had many member changes through the years, and as of the last live show in February of 2018. the band consisted of vocalist Marcus DeLoach, Drummer Douglas Manzone, and Guitarist Robert Manzone. Marcus and Douglas then parted ways with the band, and Robert took it over as a solo project to continue the tradition of writing and putting out original, Christ-centered metal music.
"My name is Robert Manzone, and I am in a solo project called “Searching Serenity”. Since its founding in 2014, this project has gone through phases of being both a full live performing band, and now a solo studio project. My goal with the band has always been to provide the gospel of Jesus Christ through this unique means that I enjoy so much. I’m always working on new material and most recently released my 8th album “Retribution” and plan to continue using my music to reach people as much as God would will it to be so!”
