Maria Segerholm is an independent Christian singer and songwriter from Sweden who longs to spread hope and the love of Jesus through her music. Her music is soulful with influences from pop, RnB, gospel and country music.

Maria has been releasing songs regularly since 2021. In 2021 Maria wrote the song 'Healing Rain' as a prayer for her close friend who was suffering from the horrible disease ME/CFS since 7 years back. A disease without a cure that millions of people worldwide are suffering from. Maria felt urged to release the song, praying that people would resonate with it and experience comfort and healing. In January 2022 Maria’s friend was miraculously healed. PRAISE GOD!!

Maria is part of the acoustic pop duo Silent Hope. Maria previously released the album 'I Need to Know' back in 2009 under the name Maria Sahar. It was a school project with songs in different genres and three different languages.
