Steven Joubert, a Christian artist from Lafayette, Louisiana, weaving Americana melodies with the purpose of uniting the Church in worship. In the midst of the 2000s punk and emo scene, Steven's journey took a turn when he embraced the role of a worship leader at just 19. After seven years of musical exploration with Ayleron, he ventured into the solo spotlight, guided by a higher purpose. In 2014, Steven crafted The Entrance as his first foray into the Americana sound with the song "Holy Spirit." This song was subsequently released by St. Mary's Press as part of their Called to Mercy program which featured a soundtrack titled Scandal of Mercy. That project was followed up in 2018 with the release of Pride and Joy.

Pride and Joy stepped even further into the Americana style that Steven became so fond of from the first project. The goal this time was to continue to stretch and explore the soundscape. The first half of the EP Mansion, Stand, and Seal My Eyes are all various expressions of the inner turmoil of the journey of faith and struggle with pride. The following 3 songs (Leaning on the Everlasting Arms, Joyful Noise, and Start Again) are all songs that articulate the life of joy one can experience as soon as they allow their pride to die and embrace a life with Christ.

With every release, Steven continues to push the envelope of his sound and stretch his musical prowess. This is clearly demonstrated with his latest single "All God's People". With a powerful chorus that features a potent choir section, the song communicates the reality that everyone has a part to play in building the Kingdom of God. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Crowder, For King and Country, Matt Maher, Gungor, Relient K, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Mumford and Sons, Steven's music blends multiple genres creating music characterized by anthemic melodies and robust lyrical imagery, all bound together with iconic sounds steeped in Southern culture.
